I know I am a little late on this post but I had to post this pictures of my niece (Lily) and Nephew (Reid). We had so much fun with our family on the beach. It was a prefect place to spend Mother's Day weekend.
This is at Go Cart Park! It is called "The Track" It looked fun from the side of the road so we thought we would make a day at of it. We all played Goofy Golf and the kids loved the train ride and swings. 
We finally made it to the beach today and to no surprise Gage loved it. I am so glad he likes his sunglasses and hat. He does not mess with either of them. 
It is a tradition to take picture at some point on the beach. It is an event that test all the parents' patience. Below are some of the pictures: (I am sorry but a lot of our pictures are on Nana and Pop Pop's Camera. I will post more of our family later).
The next day, Lily joined us and she loved the sand and the water.
On, the last night we always try to get some good family pictures, but with two kids you can imagine the out come.
In the middle of taken pictures this plan flew over the water. It was so close I thought a shark was going to come out of the water and drag it in the ocean. 
I am back from training for now and will return in 2 weeks. I thought that meant that I would be at home for two weeks but that is not at all what that means. It just means that I will not be in Chicago. Below are some friends I met at training. We are eating at a famous restaurant called BOB CHIN'S. The man on the left is Bob Chinn. He is a supper nice guy and he sat at our table for about 2 hours visiting. If you ever go to Chicago, I encourage you to try this place. The King Crab is GREAT!

This weekend Breisch and I went to Little Rock, AR for Adam's wedding. Adam is Breisch's long time friend, but since we have gotten married Breisch and Adam have not spent a lot of time together. It was really fun to finally get to meet Abby and hang out with both of them together. I also wanted to say it was one of most creative weddings I have ever been to. It was really organized and very personable. I am only sorry I did not take more pictures. To the left, is a picture of Breisch and I at the reception.
For those of you planning a wedding, here is a creative idea! The picture on the left was one of the focal points of the reception. The two dresses are their parents' wedding dresses and the pictures displayed in the middle are of the bride and groom's parents at their weddings. She also had other focal points such as the cakes and a wall of frames with pictures of them. The decorations were intimate and creative. You can tell that a lot of thought went into prepare this wedding.
Last weekend Breisch and I headed to Texas for a family function. As you can see from the picture below, it was a crawfish boil that our extended family holds every year. It was so much fun and so many people. Just one of my dad's siblings has 6 children who are all married with their own children. With such a big family, it is hard to see everybody, but it was really great to see all of the ones who came.
These are two of my cousins. They are twins, and the girl on the left is my god-daughter. They were so much fun, and they love the camera.
This is a picture of my father and Jude, one of the twins. They are such people lovers. It does not matter who you are they will love on you!
Here are Lizzie, Steve, and Laura Beth (my Niece) at the crawfish boil. She is a little over 3 months old and is so much fun to play with. I think her favorite thing to do is smile at ME. 
After the crawfish boil, Steve, Lizzie, Laura Beth, Breisch, and I loaded up the van and headed to Dallas, TX for some sight seeing. We got there at about 10:30 Saturday night and went straight to sleep. The next day we went to the JFK Memorial and Museum (The Sixth Floor Museum). Below is a picture of the window from where at least three out of the four shots were fired. They are not really sure how many shots were fired, but they are for sure three and think possibly four. After this weekend, I think one of the first questions I will ask when I get to heaven is "Who really killed JFK?"
Here is Steve (my Brother-in-law) taking pictures on the "X" where the car was sitting at the time of the first shot. Yes, he is in the middle of the road and yes, cars do drive on this road. For a minute, I thought Steve was a goner!
I know...don't we look cute! To cap the night off, we decided to go to Medieval Times. This is a fun dinner and show that interacts with the crowd. They have sword fights, horse riding, and competitive games. If you get a chance, this is something anybody would enjoy, but if you have kids, it is a must! 
Below is a picture of them introducing the knights. As you can see from our crowns, we are cheering for the yellow knight, so during the entire show we want our knight to win.

Ok, it has been a while! I am sorry I have not posted the pictures from the ski trip or even told you about my GREAT vacation in general. There is really no excuse! But instead of writing about the ski trip I think I am just going to direct you to Hailey and Tim's blog. They went on the trip with us. Hailey is always the hit of the party and I love to read her stories. She has also posted some great pictures and since I am never at my computer at home I figured I would just piggy back off of Hailey this go around. Thanks Haze! I owe you one!
As most of you know, Breisch and I are going on another ski trip with some friends this Saturday. In anticipation of a hectic week, I decided to start getting some stuff together. As I was writing a Wal-Mart list, a check list, and a honey-do-list, I realized there is lots to do in very little time! Right now we only have a FEW things to do: small group on Monday, tennis match on Tuesday, church training session on Wednesday, and tennis lesson and ski logistics meeting on Thursday, which leaves ample time to pack on Friday (HA). Not to mention, I feel like I am going crazy with this time change! I just do not understand how the weeks fill up. Last week, I was mapping out a game plan for the next 2 weeks, and I only had two things scheduled this week. I just don't understand --- How can a week fill up in a matter of a few days? I mean --- I am tired just writing about it.
Last Friday, some of my friends and I headed to Cleveland to the Peter's Pottery 1/2 sale on Saturday. Now, we left on Friday just to be sure we got there 16 hours before everyone else, or so we thought. We took Meredith's SUV, which was full with luggage before ever leaving the driveway ---- Hailey and Mamie are co-presidents of "Overpackers Anonymous." Then there were the laundry baskets for all of our "treasures" ..... as we were driving, the plan began to develop for the following morning. The term "sleeping in the car" came up, and immediately - the "non cooker, non pottery loving" girl said "HECK NO." We figured it was just the lack of dinner, so we waited to bring it up after food wasn't an issue. We stopped in the big "ZOO" (Yazoo City) at "Stubs" for dinner ---- the name says it all. It smelled like a nursing home and catered to that age group based on the crowd control. We all decided to go with "fried" --- can't screw that up. Once we got to Cleveland, we went immediately to the "place of action" to check out our competition. Competition people. For clay. And yes, there were people sleeping in their cars. Ridiculous. Hailey immediately said there was no way she was sleeping in the car for anything, MUCH LESS a piece of pottery. After much debate, we settled on getting up at 3:30 ... which turned into 4:00. Stopped at the donut shop for breakfast - more like dessert after supper - and headed to mark our territory. We ended up about 50 back and Mamie paced the line, making friends with everyone...we arrived at 5:15 and entered the store at 8:05. And by entered, I mean we ran. It was the most insane thing I've ever witnessed. Cussing. Grabbing. Fighting. Straight up GIRL FIGHTS all over a bunny, salt shakers, and a large candle stick. People came in "teams" --- we didn't do so bad for a 1 die-hard Peter's Pottery fan, 1 who could have absolutely cared less, 1 who wouldn't raise her voice to save her life, and 1 that was a great bargainer. It kicks "Black Fridays" butt. I highly suggest you check it out. Pictures posted soon.
