Easter Egg Hunt

This is Gage's first Easter! Of course he is not sure what the big deal is about this bunny and his eggs, but he had fun looking at the colorful eggs and watching the kids running to each egg they found. Here are some sweet pictures of him at his first Easter egg hunt. He had so much fun and had everyone laughing. It was a great day with friends. God, thank you for this sweet baby boy and thank you for Your Son.

This weekend Gage was working with daddy again out in the garage and this time loud heavey machinery was involved, so Gage was prepared.

6 Months

In the last couple of days there has been a lot of "first." But before I get to that let me share with you how his 6 month check up went. He now weights 20.8 lb, which surprised me. I thought he weighed a lot more than that. Ha Ha. He is still pretty tall and pretty heavy as he falls in the 93th percentile in both height and weight. The little man also had to get shots today and did really good. He did cry, but not for long and after that he had a great day playing with mommy. Here are pictures

Below was tonight while eating with some friends. This is his first time to sit in a highchair in public. He did great and loved seeing the world upright.

Yesterday, we went to Gaines Stallings Baptism and Gage decided it was time to sit up. I was so proud. We have been working on this at home, but he did not act like he was anywhere close to ready. As you can see, he was so enjoying the world in a new light.

I love watching him grow up! We had so much fun on the floor today playing and talking to each other. He is saying the "B", "M", and little "a" sounds.

SHINE 2010

This weekend our church did SHINE a weekend of service a long with other Churches in the Jackson area. It was really fun and so rewarding. I only hope that Jackson saw God with all these people shining His light. Here are some pictures from the weekend. The first place we went was a school in Jackson called Brown Elementary. The second place was a warehouse downtown.

Nana and Pop Pop watched Gage while we served. When I picked up Gage, Nana had put him in this hat. It was Breisch's when he was little. He is so cute in it. Gage had so much fun and he was beat when I came to get him.

Angie, Breisch, and BABY Makes 3!

A lot has happen since I last blogged. We have started working in the yard a little (by we I mean Breisch). We have celebrated more birthday's and baby showers since the last time I blogged. I have to say we are so blessed to have had all these moments with our friends and family. I wish I had my camera to show you all the things that we have been doing but I can't because I left it at the last birthday party we celebrated. It was Walt Power's surprise 30th birthday party last Friday and we had so much fun that we (by we I mean I) left the camera at their house in Greenville. I am sorry I do not have pictures for you to see. I know pictures are really what makes a blog, but I do have some excited news to share. Breisch and I as of yesterday are 8 weeks pregnant and we are due on October 18th. We are really excited! Our first doctor visit was last Wed. and everything was great! Praise God! We would love for our friends and family to join with us to pray for us and the new addition to our family. I have no idea what I am doing and I am going to need all the prayers I can get. I cannot wait to learn more about the little bug and as I progress I will try my best to pass it along to you.

Hectic Week...Lots to Get Done!

As most of you know, Breisch and I are going on another ski trip with some friends this Saturday. In anticipation of a hectic week, I decided to start getting some stuff together. As I was writing a Wal-Mart list, a check list, and a honey-do-list, I realized there is lots to do in very little time! Right now we only have a FEW things to do: small group on Monday, tennis match on Tuesday, church training session on Wednesday, and tennis lesson and ski logistics meeting on Thursday, which leaves ample time to pack on Friday (HA). Not to mention, I feel like I am going crazy with this time change! I just do not understand how the weeks fill up. Last week, I was mapping out a game plan for the next 2 weeks, and I only had two things scheduled this week. I just don't understand --- How can a week fill up in a matter of a few days? I mean --- I am tired just writing about it.

2 Words -- GIRL TRIP!

Last Friday, some of my friends and I headed to Cleveland to the Peter's Pottery 1/2 sale on Saturday. Now, we left on Friday just to be sure we got there 16 hours before everyone else, or so we thought. We took Meredith's SUV, which was full with luggage before ever leaving the driveway ---- Hailey and Mamie are co-presidents of "Overpackers Anonymous." Then there were the laundry baskets for all of our "treasures" ..... as we were driving, the plan began to develop for the following morning. The term "sleeping in the car" came up, and immediately - the "non cooker, non pottery loving" girl said "HECK NO." We figured it was just the lack of dinner, so we waited to bring it up after food wasn't an issue. We stopped in the big "ZOO" (Yazoo City) at "Stubs" for dinner ---- the name says it all. It smelled like a nursing home and catered to that age group based on the crowd control. We all decided to go with "fried" --- can't screw that up. Once we got to Cleveland, we went immediately to the "place of action" to check out our competition. Competition people. For clay. And yes, there were people sleeping in their cars. Ridiculous. Hailey immediately said there was no way she was sleeping in the car for anything, MUCH LESS a piece of pottery. After much debate, we settled on getting up at 3:30 ... which turned into 4:00. Stopped at the donut shop for breakfast - more like dessert after supper - and headed to mark our territory. We ended up about 50 back and Mamie paced the line, making friends with everyone...we arrived at 5:15 and entered the store at 8:05. And by entered, I mean we ran. It was the most insane thing I've ever witnessed. Cussing. Grabbing. Fighting. Straight up GIRL FIGHTS all over a bunny, salt shakers, and a large candle stick. People came in "teams" --- we didn't do so bad for a 1 die-hard Peter's Pottery fan, 1 who could have absolutely cared less, 1 who wouldn't raise her voice to save her life, and 1 that was a great bargainer. It kicks "Black Fridays" butt. I highly suggest you check it out. Pictures posted soon.
