Only the Biggest Tractor will Do! Gage is turning 2!

Last week we had Gage's 2nd birthday! It was one of those days that I will remember forever. It was the prettiest day and the kids just had the best time. Below is a video that my sister put together and it is the BEST birthday present anyone could have given him. While Breisch and I were running around and making sure everything was going smoothly, my sister was taken great pictures and video. Thank you Lizzie for the greatest gift! This video is something I will cherish forever.

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch with Anna Grace, Reid, Lily, and Gage this weekend. It was so much fun and it gave Breisch and I some GREAT memories with our niece's and nephew.

We had a great time. We went on a hay ride and saw some cows, goats, zedonk (Zebra and Donkey), and pumpkins.

Gage's favorite thing was the corn box, not a sand box but a corn box. ha ha.
Lily liked it too but not as much as Gage. This is a picture of them all on the hay Stack.

Here is Reid and Gage wait on the girls to pick their pumpkin.

This was a really cool swing and Anna Grace really had fun on it. In fact, we liked it so much we tired to figure out how to make it.

This is on the way back from the pumpkin patch.

Here is all of us right when we got on the Hayride.

Perfection!

What a amazing day the Lord has made. First, I want to thank everyone for praying for our family. We felt them all! It was a great day and Layne is doing well at the time. The goal is to get her home and stable, so she can live out her life with her family. Eventhough the length of Baby Layne's life is unknown, we all know who is ultimately in charge. I mean, after all, the doctors did not think she would make it out of the womb. God has definitly shown the world a miracle through sweet baby Layne, and I am so honored to be a small part of her life.

All about Gage

Gage was born on Sept. 28, 2009, but today Gage had so much fun celebrating his birthday. He is now walking about 7 steps at a time. He is trying to repeat everything. He says "bye bye", "Mama", "Dada", and "Mana" for Nana. It is so much fun to talk to him. You can tell he is really studying your mouth when you talk.

Below are some pictures of the day. It was a great day with family. Gage had grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles there to celebrate with him on his special day, and he was so thankful. It would have been better if my sweet sister and her family could have joined us. We missed you guys terribly, but we are so glad we got to skype with you during the "Happy birthday" song

Gage spent the night over at Nana and Pop Pop's house Friday so I could cook his cake. I am not sure what happen, but I did not get a picture of his cake. I know my family did, but it did not make in on my camera. I will try to get a picture a post it later. It really turned out cute. Thank you Nana and Pop Pop for loving on Gage Friday night. It was such a treat for him.

So here are a few pictures of the day.

Gage loved Nana's car. He rides in it every time he goes to Nana's. You will also see Gage's BEST friend in the picture too. His poor frog is put through the ringer, but as you can see that frog goes every where he does.

Gage ate a cupcake for the first time today and he loved it. I will post a video later so you can see actually how much he liked it.

Yes, that is Gage picking up the entire cupcake to try to eat it. He worked hard trying to eat that cupcake and he had fun doing it.

Gage loved opening his presents. He was not sure what to think about it all, but he liked the aftermath as you can see. Thank you for the gifts. Gage will enjoy them all.

After a long day, Gage and daddy sat down to watch the last half of the State vs LSU game. Although it was HARD to watch, it was great time with daddy.

11 Months and counting

Gage is now 11 months old. He has taken an couple of steps here and there, but since he can crawl faster he is still not to interested in walking. He likes to say bye bye, and da da. He smiles at everything and loves life. He is a joy to watch and I love watching him grow.

Prayers Please!

Last Thursday my sister-n-law went to her normal check up. She is 29 or 30 weeks pregnant. It was sugar test time, and the doctor also took a look at the baby. The doctor shared some concerns with her after the sonogram saying that Sweet Baby Gaston was measuring 3 weeks smaller than normal. The doctor sent her to a specialist that day to see the baby with a sonogram machine that gives more detail. The specialist ran some test and told them to come back on Monday, which was yesterday. Well, the rain came down yesterday when they discovered sweet baby Gaston has Trisomy 18 (T18) also known as Edwards Syndrome. Please pray for the Gaston family as they process this information and prepare their family for her arrival. I also would like you to pray for the entire family as we support them on this journey.

Let's get together...Continues

Tonight, Gage had a friend/2nd cousin come visit for dinner. As you can see, Gage was already ready for bed. He is a early sleeper, but he also gets up early too. Here is a picture of them getting to know each other once again. It was so funny to watch them interact. We took so many pictures of them, but I tried to pick the ones that told the best story.

Them meeting ....

Gage ready for bed.....
Gaines entertaining himself, because Gage only lasted a short while.
Even though Gaines was so tried because he stay up a little later then normal, he was so good and so much fun. He has changed so much since the last time I saw him and I loved playing with that sweet man.

Lastly, I thought I might throw in a first moment ... Gage is now brushing his teeth. I have been doing it with a finger brush, but now Gage is brushing his teeth with a BIG boy tooth brush.

Day 3 at the Beach

I know I am a little late on this post but I had to post this pictures of my niece (Lily) and Nephew (Reid). We had so much fun with our family on the beach. It was a prefect place to spend Mother's Day weekend.
This is at Go Cart Park! It is called "The Track" It looked fun from the side of the road so we thought we would make a day at of it. We all played Goofy Golf and the kids loved the train ride and swings.

Day 2 of Vacation

We finally made it to the beach today and to no surprise Gage loved it. I am so glad he likes his sunglasses and hat. He does not mess with either of them. It is a tradition to take picture at some point on the beach. It is an event that test all the parents' patience. Below are some of the pictures: (I am sorry but a lot of our pictures are on Nana and Pop Pop's Camera. I will post more of our family later).

Christmas with the Stallings Family

I wish I would have got more pictures, but I was a little busy this year. Next year I will not have to hold little Gage so much.

Pop Pop holding Gage. They had such a great time making faces at each other. I think I got 30 or so pictures of them. It was really fun to watch!

Anna Grace holding Gage. Gage loves Anna Grace. He never cries with her. She is so good with babies and will make a GREAT Babysitter for anyone. That is when she get old enough.

Lily is also loving so babies. She received a couple of babies for Christmas. One she named Jesus and the other Jage AKA Gage. She loves her cousin Gage too. I think it is safe to say her quote for the year is "hold baby Jage". She is so cute to watch.

This is all the kidos opening their presents. This year we did it in rounds and the kids really liked it and play along well. It was good for the adults to see each child open their presents and doing it in rounds made them open them a little more slower. We will have to remember it for next year.

Again baby Gage's meal time fell right in the middle of opening presents. Daddy was the all time present opener this year. Thanks Dad!

Holiday Pictures

The last couple of weeks have been very eventful. Gage had so much fun over Thanksgiving with all his family.

A couple of weeks ago our good friends Laura and Kelley came to visit and see Gage for the first time. As you can see, Laura is having quite a time getting Gage to look at the camera. It was so much fun to see them and Gage cannot wait to see them again.
Gage also got to visit his great grandmother for the first time. It was so sweet to see her interact with him.

Paw Paw (my Dad) giving Gage a bottle.
Aunt Lizzie holding Gage.
Laure Beth loving her new car that Gran gave her. She was so much fun over Thanksgiving. I enjoyed watching Laura Beth play with Gage. The best part was when she said "Don't cry 'a' Gage." The "a" Stands for Baby. It was so cute. I cannot wait for Gage to say cute things like that.
Gran got Gage and Laura Beth these cute outfits and we tried to take picture in them but you know how that goes with a 8 wk old and a 21 month old. Ha ha

Here is a good family pictures.

This is a great family picture of Lizzie, Steve, and Laura Beth.

Below is Briesch's side of the family. This is all the grand childern together. This was the best picture. I am just glad we got a picture with all of them. It was hard to get them to sit all at the same time. Ha.
